Description

A study of geriatrics, abuse and assault, patients with special challenges and acute interventions for chronic care patients; a study of the assessment and management of neonatal and pediatric emergencies common in emergency medical services. A Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is included. Assessment based management of a variety of common com- plaints is also discussed. Laboratory and clinical practicum included. Prerequisite: EMS 1203, EMS 1213, EMS 1225.
