Description
An introduction to basic statistical terminology, organization of data, measures of central tendency and dispersions, and application of statistical techniques using business examples and statistical applications software. Includes elementary probability, sampling, estimation, software applications, and a variety of other statistical techniques to prepare the student for upper-level fore- casting, linear programming, and multivariate applications. Prerequisite: MATH 1513 or higher. (Formerly BMA 2333 and cross-listed with MATH 2843.)
