Request from within the Explore RSU Libraries search results list:

There are multiple ways that an interlibrary loan request may be submitted.  From our Explore RSU libraries search, if you encounter an article or book that you would like to request, simply click into the title:

Request from within a Database results list:

In some cases, it may even be possible to request the item directly from the search results list, such as with the example shown below, taken from an EBSCO database search results list:

In this case, simply click the "Request via Interlibrary Loan" link at the bottom of the result record.

Request directly from the Interlibrary Loan Request Form:

If you know the publication information for the item you wish to request, you can also go directly to the Interlibrary Loan Request Form and fill the information in there.

Note: With any request method, please remember to fill out the form as completely as possible, including your name, contact information, and as much information as possible about the item being requested.  Remember, the more we know about the item, the easier it will be for us to get it to you as quickly as possible.

Also keep in mind that while we will always try our best to get the items you request, there may be rare cases where we are unable to find a library willing to lend the material.  In these cases, we will contact you to let you know if we were unable to obtain the material requested.
