Simply click your area of study, locate your advisor, and click on their appointment booking link to schedule. It’s that easy. If you have questions, you’ll also find their contact information on that page.

Rogers State University to Close Sept. 1 for Labor Day

Rogers State University campuses in Claremore, Pryor and Bartlesville will be closed Monday, Sept. 1, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Campuses will be closed at this time, including all of the respective university’s business offices.

RSU Dining Services for the Claremore campus shall remain open on Labor Day, with adjusted hours. Chapman Dining Hall will serve brunch from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 5:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Hillcat Hut Café and the Hilltop Coffee Shop will both be open from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and then again from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

University offices will reopen and resume their regular hours of operation beginning Tuesday, Sept. 2. For more information about Rogers State University, visit www.rsu.edu.

RSU to Host Faculty and Staff Art Exhibit Sept. 4-26

Rogers State University will be showcasing the artwork of members of its faculty and staff in an upcoming art exhibit.

RSU’s Faculty and Staff Art Exhibition will be held Sept. 4 through 26 in the Gary Moeller Gallery of the Arts in Baird Hall on RSU’s Claremore campus.

The exhibit will showcase a range of mediums, including graphic design, painting, drawings, printmaking, photography, ceramics, multimedia, quilt, costume design, and installation. Faculty and staff members contributing art to the exhibit include Bryce Brimmer, Clay McIntosh, Steven Rosser, Kristal Tomshany, Dr. Hugh Foley, Gary Moeller, Rene Cox, Moose, Dr. Dine Seo and Sunny Lee.

According to Fine Arts faculty member Professor Steven Rosser, the exhibition is a chance for RSU students and members of the community to see faculty aren’t only educators but practicing artists as well.

An opening reception will be held Thursday, Sept. 4, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the gallery. As part of the evening, Dr. Hugh Foley will perform a selection of his original music. Light refreshments will be served.

This event is free and open to the public during regular gallery hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

RSU to Host Mayes County Scholarship Breakfast Sept. 18

Rogers State University President Dr. Don Raleigh and the RSU Foundation invite the public to an annual event to help provide scholarships for students attending RSU Pryor and Mayes County area students attending RSU in Claremore.

The Mayes County Scholarship Breakfast is slated for 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, in the Community Room of the Creekside Church in Pryor. The church is located at 1500 E. Graham Avenue.

Although this event is free to attend, donations are welcomed.

City of Claremore Honors RSU at 25th Anniversary Party

Claremore City Manager John Feary was among the celebrants Tuesday at RSU’s 25th Anniversary Cookout, bringing with him a proclamation from the city of Claremore recognizing the university’s quarter-century as a four-year degree-granting institution.

Following opening remarks by RSU Vice President for Development Steve Valencia and RSU President Dr. Don Raleigh, Feary addressed the crowd on behalf of Claremore Mayor Debbie Long and the City, recognizing the university’s 25-year milestone with the reading of a proclamation.
